Gaddy Shack Ranch hosts annual horse expo Oct. 23

KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – Mark your calendars for Saturday, Oct. 23, to attend a fabulous day of fun, food, clinics and demonstrations.

The annual Lake County Horse Expo will take place that day at the Gaddy Shack Ranch, 3050 Gaddy Lane, Kelseyville.

There will be many vendors on hand displaying their products and services.

Try your hand at the hands on goat tying clinic. Goat tying is a very popular sport in which a mounted rider runs down the arena, dismounts where a tethered goat is waiting, and “ties” the goat's feet together in the fastest time possible.

Learn the basics of evaluating a horse and finding out if he is a good match for your family.

Stuart Kerr, known widely as “the equine dentist,” will be offering equine dental work throughout the day for a fee.

There will be a barbecue lunch available for $8 and refreshments throughout the day.

Starting at 2 p.m. there will be barrel racing and pole bending.

All horse enthusiasts are invited for a great day of raffles, demonstrations and family fun.
