HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE, Calif. – The Hidden Valley Lake Men's Niners Golf Club held a two-man scramble competition on Oct. 14.

The results were as follows:

• Lower flight: The team of Stan Kalata/Arch Madsen took first place with a combined net of 25. The teams of Dave Mann/Joe Whitbeck and Bob Brossier/Bill Helt tied for second with 27.

• Upper flight: The teams of Sterling Bright/Gary Pickrell and Jim Hodges/Jay Hodges (father and son) tied for first at 21. The team of Tom Sowell/Doug Carter was third with 24.

Fifty-four (27 teams) participated in the event.
