Judo club plans Dec. 16 testing, promotions
MIDDLETOWN, Calif. – Middletown Judo Club will be conducting testing and promotions on Thursday, Dec. 16.
The event will take place at the club, 18752 Armstrong St., from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Of special interest, Max Lehman will be demonstrating one of judo's forms known as Nage No Kata with his partner Matthew Straka.
This kata is considered an international standard and demonstrates 15 of judo's characteristic throws and is performed at brown belt level and above.
The general public and all former students and parents are invited to attend.
