LAKEPORT, Calif. – The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Flotilla 88 of Lake County is offering a safe boating class on June 21 and June 23.

The class will start at 6:30 p.m. at the Lake County Bible Fellowship hall in the downstairs classroom, located at 775 N. Forbes St. in Lakeport.

The cost for the class is $25.

This class will cover boating skills, vessel safety and numerous other subjects so that boaters can be properly equipped and prepared to react to boating emergencies.

The class instructor is Auxiliarist Betty Strach.
