HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE, Calif. – The HVL Men's Niners Golf Club held a two-man (3X3X3) competition on July 21.

The results were:

• "A" Fight – The teams of Carl Dennis/Bob Chestnut and Gary Faulkner/Joe Whitbeck tied for first at net 29, while Dennis Bero/Bendi Bendinelli and Jim Stratton/Bill Brewster tied for third at 30.

• "B" Flight – The team of Jim Cary/Bill Lyon finished on top with the lowest combined net of the day, 27, and Ron Clark/Brian Panizzera and Jim Hodges/Jay Hodges tied for second with 28.

Tommy Sowell was closest to the par 3 pin (#14).

Mike Riley, Phil Tyler and Ron Clark scored chip-ins.

Fifty-two men (26 teams) participated in this popular event.
