
LAKEPORT, Calif. – This weekend at Lakeport Speedway fans will be treated to the largest Bomber Bash with a full field of 30 cars starting the main event at one time.
Gates open at 5 p.m. with racing starting at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, at the speedway, located at the Lake County Fairgrounds, 401 Martin St., Lakeport.
The Bombers will be running twin 50 lap Bully Dog main events at the 9th Annual Marlene Baker Memorial King Royal Bomber Bash #16.
For the driver who can win both main events, cash and prizes in the largest bomber bash purse could reach $3,100.
Also running on the card will be the Coors Light Modifieds where Sean Sweeney is gunning to win his first points championship in the Modifieds.
But Sweeney has veteran driver Aaron Hicks right on his tail along with the red hot rookie of Charlie Collins right behind him.
The Clover Hydro Jammers, The Legend Cars of the Pacific and the Rental Solution Mini Stocks also will be running full shows throughout the night.
Everyone needs to get out of the house and come on down to the Lakeport Speedway for the largest race.
While at the races make sure to purchase your reserved presale tickets for the KXBX October Classic fireworks show and races.
The presale tickets will be on sale from Friday, Sept. 17, to Wednesday, Oct. 12. Make sure to get your favorite seat in the main grandstands, turn four bleachers and the bleachers to the right of the main grandstand prior to Oct. 12.
