HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE, Calif. – The HVL Men's Niners Golf Club held a low net (sweeps) competition on Thursday, Oct. 27.

The results were:

• First flight: Rick Canevari and Randy Brown tied at the top with net 32. Paul Bertlin came in third at 33.

• Second flight: Don Dornbush finished first with the lowest net of the day, 30. Phil Tyler was second at 32 and Joe Whitbeck was third at 33.

• Third flight: Bob Costello and Jim DeRosa tied for first with 33. Hal Weber and Doug Carter tied for third with 35.

Closest to the par 3 pins were Jim Brown and Mike Riley.

Forty men took part in this event.
