HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE, Calif. – The H.V.L. Men's Niners Golf Club held a low net (sweeps) competition on Saturday, May 12.

The results were:

• First flight: Dennis Bero and Juergen Haller tied for first with net 35. Joe Vallee, Olie Smith, Tom Gibbs, Randy Brown, David Mann and Rick Conrad tied for third at 36.
• Second flight: Bill Surber and Bill Lyon tied for first with 35. Jeff Markham, Mike Casolo, Don Dornbush, and Jim Hodges tied for third at 37.
• Third flight: Jay Hodges posted the lowest net of the day, 34. Byron Hoss was second with 36. Russ Sage and Jim DeRosa tie for third at 37.

Closest to the par 3 pins were Ron Martinez and Dave Mann. Jay Hodges scored the only chip-in of the day.  

Forty-eight men participated in this day's competition.
