HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE, Calif. – The HVL Men's Niners Golf Club held a low net (sweeps) competition on Thursday, May 31.

The results were:

• First flight: Paul Bertlin and Dave Mann tied for first with lowest nets of the day, 30, while Jim Wilson and Olie Smith tied for third at 34.
• Second flight: Bill Strickland was first with 31. Doug Healy and Phil Tyler tied for second at 32.
• Third flight: Hal Weber and Sam DeBone tied for first, 32. Doug Carter and Sterling Bright tied for third, 34.  

Closest to the par 3 pins were Al Burrows and Doug Healy.

Bill Helt had the only chip-in.  

Thirty seven men participated in this event.
