LAKEPORT, Calif. – Anderson Marsh State Historic Park holds monthly guided nature walks, followed by a tour of the Historic Ranch House Museum, on the second Saturday of the month.
The next walk is scheduled for Saturday morning, June 8.
The June 8 nature walk will explore the Marsh Trail and then loop around back to the Ranch House via the Cache Creek trail which includes a boardwalk over the riparian Cache Creek ox-bows.
Bring your binoculars and meet in front of the Ranch House at 8:15 a.m. for time to experience the early morning wildlife to be found in the Ranch House and Barn complex yard – walk begins at 8:30 a.m.
The walk will be led by Park Docents Gae Henry and Henry Bornstein. A tour of the historic Ranch House Museum will begin immediately after the walk.
