HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE, Calif. – The HVL Men’s Niners Golf Club held a stroke play tournament on Thursday, June 20.

The results were:

• First flight: Stan Kalata was first with net 29, Jim Wilson was second with 30, and Olie Smith, Dave Mann, and Bob Brossier tied for third with 31.
• Second flight: Don Dornbush, Jim Hodges and Doug Healy tied for the top spot at 31.
• Third flight: Ed Carver took first with 29, and Mike Riley and Paul Peterson tied for second with 30.

Closest to the par 3 pins were Bruce Brashares and Cliff Hughes. Tom Gibbs scored the only chip-in.

Fifty men participated in the event.
