HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE, Calif. – The HVL Men’s Niners Golf Club held a stroke play tournament on Aug. 29.

The results were:

• First flight: Keith Ipsen and Bill Helt tied for first with net 31. Fred Figg and Bill Kyle tied for second with 32.
• Second flight: Al Burrows posted the lowest net of the day, 28. Jim Brown was second at 29 and Tim Greer was third at 30.
• Third flight: Gary Foote and Paul Peterson tied for first with 31. Jay Hodges finished third with 32.

Closest to the par 3 pins were Bob Chestnut and Rick Conrad.

Jim Brown scored the only chip-in.

Fifty-three men participated in the day’s events.
