HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE, Calif. – The HVL Men’s Niners Golf Club held a stroke play tournament on Thursday, May 8.

The results were as follows:

• First flight: Jim Wilson and Woody Fink tied for first with low net 32. Bill Brewster and Stan Kalata tied for third, 33.
• Second flight: Tom Gibbs and Don Herndon tied for first, 32. Mike Henley and Bill Eagleton tied for third, 33.
• Third flight: Arch Madsen, Paul Peterson and Mike Riley tied for first, 33.
• Fourth flight: John Jones took first with 33. Phil Tyler and Byron Hoss tied for second, 34.

Closest to the par 3 pins were Al Burrows and Dennis Bero.

Chip-ins were scored by Doug Healy, Cliff Hughes and Gary Foote.

Sixty-six men participated in this event.
