HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE, Calif. – The Men's Niners Golf Club held a stroke play tournament on the back nine at the Hidden Valley Lake Golf Course on Thursday, May 29.

The results were:

• First flight winner was Joe Vallee with a net 31. Doug Healy, Don Herndon and Tom Marshall tied for second with a net 32.
• Jim Wilson took third place with a net 33. Jim Stratton took first place in the second flight with a net of 32. Olie Smith and John Gastineau tied for second with a net 34. Tim Greer took third place with a net 35.
• In the third flight, Dennis Day had the lowest net score 30 taking first place. Gary Faulkner was second with a net 31 and Jim Hodges took third place with a net 34.

Closest to pins were Tom Marshall and Joe Vallee.

Chip-ins were made by Hal Weber, Gary Foote and Paul Harvey.

Forty three golfers participated.
