HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE, Calif. – The HVL Men’s Niners Golf Club held a stroke-play tournament on June 11.

The results were:

– First flight: Bob Chesnut took first with net 34. Al Burrows, Don Herndon and Fred Figg finished tied for second, 35.
– Second flight: Ron Clark was first, 31. Paul Peterson and Bill Surber tied for second, 34.
– Third flight: Bob Costello and Phil Tyler tied for the top spot with the lowest net of the day, 28. Dick Kistner finished third with 37.

Closest to the Par 3 pins were Don Herndon and Rick Conrad. Fred Figg scored the only chip-in.

Forty-one men participated in this event.
