HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE, Calif. – The HVL Men’s Niners Golf Club held a stroke-play tournament on Aug. 6.

The results were:

– First flight: Randy Kephart was first at net 32. Jim Wilson was second, 33 and Stan Kalata third, 34.

– Second flight: Mike Casolo finished in first, 32. Jim Stratton second, 33 and Ron Clark third, 34.

– Third flight: Bill Surber posted the lowest net on the day, 31. Mike Riley second, 32 and Mike Higman third, 35.

– Fourth flight: Ed Brooks and Bill Stricklan tied for first at 36. Bill Ferris was third, 37.

The four flight winners qualify for the 2015 Club Championship playoff next week.

Closest to the Par 3 pins were Jeff Markham and Byron Hoss. Chip-ins were scored by Mike Higman, Bob Schossler, Randy Kephart, and Jim Dvoark.

Fifty-one members participated in this event.
