Comments sought on Sheetiron 300 Dualsport event

MENDOCINO NATIONAL FOREST, Calif. – The Grindstone Ranger District is seeking comments on a proposal for the Oakland Motorcycle Club to hold its Sheetiron 300 Dualsport event on the southern end of the Mendocino National Forest, May 19 to 20.

The total route is approximately 300 miles, starting in Stonyford, traversing the forest, stopping overnight in Fort Bragg, and returning to Stonyford.

It will run from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day and may involve up to 500 dual sport bike riders.

Comments will be accepted until Monday, May 7.
