Clear Lake State Park plans Aug. 3 Campfire Program event on fire awareness

KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – Join Clear Lake State Park Aide Kitty Doherty and Fire Prevention Specialist Bruce Lang of Cal Fire on Saturday, Aug. 3, for a fun and exciting Campfire Program about fire awareness.

The hour-long program, presented by Lang and a local Boy Scout Troop, begins at 7:30 p.m. and will be held at the park’s Education Pavilion.

Visitors are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and maybe even some bug spray if desired. Rain will cancel the program.

Clear Lake State Park is located at 5300 Soda Bay Road in Kelseyville.

Admission to the park is free to those attending the program.
