LOWER LAKE, Calif. — The next "Second Saturday" guided nature walk at Anderson Marsh State Historic Park will be held on Saturday, June 13.
The guided walk will be led by State Parks Interpreter Tyler Lindberg.
The guided nature walk will provide an opportunity to observe wildlife at the park and learn about their natural habitat, as well as to learn about the natural and cultural history of the area.
After the guided walk, Lindberg will conduct a tour of the historic Anderson Ranch House.
The guided walk will begin at 8:30 a.m.
Bring binoculars and meet in the parking lot at 8:15 a.m. for an opportunity to observe the birds and other wildlife found in the picnic area. Sturdy shoes, a hat and water are suggested
The walks take between 1.5 and three hours, depending on the route taken. Steady rain will cancel the walk. Dogs are not allowed on the park trails.
The ranch house tour will begin immediately after the conclusion of the guided walk.
There is no charge for the nature walk and ranch house tour and parking is free for those attending.
