Middletown Methodist hosts Locke, renaissance singers

MIDDLETOWN – Inspirational videos are now shown each Sunday at 9:45 a.m. at the Middletown Methodist Church prior to the 10 a.m. New Life Service. Reverend Timothy Locke of Four Springs Retreat Center is the Aug. 30 speaker concluding the theme is “What Commands us/ there something better.”


The Renaissance Noble Singers will offer special music during the service.


The Emergency Food distribution from the Methodist Church will change to the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 9:30 to noon beginning in September (donations are appreciated). This change will compliment the existing Wednesday food programs in Middleton. The first Wednesday distribution is at the Lion’s clubhouse on Central Park Road from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. The third Wednesday of the month food is distributed by Catholic Charities at St. Joseph’s Church in Middletown.


In the area of Methodist Christian Education, New News program for children under 12 years old is held Sunday from 10:15 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Exploring The Word,” adult Bible Study, held Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 4 pm in the church’s Community Social Hall led by Rose Marie Bero.


The Middletown Community United Methodist Church practices Open Hearts, Open Minds and Open Doors. Whereever you are on your journey of faith, you are welcome to join the church.


The church is located at the corner of Washington and Armstrong, one block off Calistoga Street east of the Middletown Post Office.
