'Important Life Plans' workshop set for Saturday

MIDDLETOWN – Join the Middletown Community United Methodist Church this Saturday, April 17, for its interactive workshop to easily guide everyone in making important life plans.

The workshop will take place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the church, 11581 Armstrong St., Middletown.

Is your life in transition? If you are married or single, or a child of a mature parent, this workshop is for you.

The workshop can help prepare if you are away from home and in an accident, and for events where family and friends know who should be contacted in a case of emergencies.

What surgeries have you had, do you have allergies, who is responsible for your medical care should you become incapacitated?

Taking more than two medications or have more than one physician? How long should you keep tax forms, bank statements, receipts and credit card bills?

All this and more is presented in an upbeat manner by Voris Brumfield, and Jon and Pat Meyer. Also included will be discussion and forms useful in preparing for the various stages of life.
