MIDDLETOWN – Rev. Peggy Thompson will be the special speaker for this Sunday's New Life Service at the Middletown Community United Methodist Church.

The service starts at 9:45 a.m.

The July sermon theme is “Seeing Visions, Dreaming Dreams.” Rev. Thompson's message title is “God is paying attention – are we?”

Special music from Peter De Long and the Resurrections will be featured at the 9:45 a.m. July 25 New Life Service.

The Resurrections inspire congregations to participate and raise their voices in song and chant. Guitars, bass, drums and keyboards combine to create a high energy musical offering with positive and life affirming messages tied to the message shared by Rev. De Long, a multifaith minister.

Following the service on July 25 will be a Community Dinner at 11:15 a.m.

The Middletown Community United Methodist Church practices “Open hearts, open minds and open doors.”

Wherever you are on your journey of faith, you are welcome to attend.

The church is located at the corner of Washington and Armstrong, one block off Calistoga Street east of the Middletown Post Office.
