Respect Life fundraiser set for Oct. 24

CLEARLAKE, Calif. – The Knights of Columbus of Queen of Peace Parish in Clearlake invite you to attend their annual Respect Life Fundraising Dinner to be held on Sunday evening, Oct. 24, at 5 p.m. at the newly built parish center overlooking Clear Lake.

The annual dinner raises funds for local organizations that assist pregnant women and families in need.

A dinner of roasted chicken, pasta, side dishes and dessert is just $12 per person.

Fr. Phil Ryan, beloved local priest and producer of the Lake County Passion Play, will be the featured speaker and a singing trio led by Shelly Mascari will provide special music.

Donations to the silent auction are welcome. Please contact Esther Oertel at 707-485-4874 if you have a local business and wish to donate a gift certificate or other item. Individuals who’d like to donate their special skill as an auction item are encouraged to call Oertel, as well.

Queen of Peace Church is located on the corner of Uhl Avenue and Veterans Blvd. in Clearlake, and the parish center is just behind it, opposite the VFW Hall on Veterans Blvd. Advance purchase of tickets for the dinner is recommended, but not required.

For tickets, please contact Bob George at 707-998-4816 or the parish office at 707-994-6618.
