New Hope Fellowship Church hosts Dacus April 12

LAKEPORT, Calif. – New Hope Fellowship Church in Lakeport will host nationally acclaimed speaker, Brad Dacus, from the Pacific Justice Institute (PJI)

The community is invited to hear Dacus speak at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, at the New Hope Fellowship Church, 305 Peckham Court, in Lakeport.

The PJI is a nonprofit organization, which provides legal assistance to families, and religious organizations, when their constitutional rights are in jeopardy.

Dacus has been featured on “Good Morning America,” “The Today Show, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC and many other national venues.

He served as a legislative assistant to US Senator Phil Gramm and earned a juris doctorate from University of Texas Law School.

Dacus founded PJI in 1997, and has been dedicated to the defense of religious liberty and parental rights, along with a network of approximately 1,000 volunteer attorneys and staff who offer their services free of charge.

Pastor Moises Zapata and Minister Jeff Daly, author of “The Spiritual Battle for the White House,” are co-hosting the free event, presented for Christians and non-Christians alike.

Dacus will be speaking on “The Church and Politics,” and will explore the separation of church and state, parental rights in the school system.

He'll also discuss how each individual or church can affect change to insure everyone enjoys their religious liberties and free speech, even in the classroom should a student care to share their beliefs, or be excluded from graphic sex education, if the parents feel it is too explicit.
