Galilee Lutheran marks Christ the King Sunday Nov. 20

KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – Galilee Lutheran will celebrate Christ the King Sunday on Nov. 20.


Sunday School for the children begins at 9 a.m., with the worship service starting at 10 a.m.


This week is Christ the King Sunday. It is the last Sunday of the church calendar. Next week begins a new church year with the beginning of Advent.


Pastor Martha Neff Stum will present the message and a special time for the children.


Special music will be presented by Galilee's Chancel Choir under the direction of Marcie Reil.


Communion will be served during service and all baptized believers are welcome at God's table.


This will be the last week of the Adult Forum. The forum will meet on Tuesday, Nov. 22, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with the topic being Christian iconography.


Midweek Advent services will begin on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at 7 p.m. and continue each Tuesday during the Advent season.


Everyone is invited and welcomed to join this friendly congregation for Sunday worship and mid-week services.
