Unitarian service to discuss higher power

KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – The service at the Unitarian Universalist Community of Lake County for Sunday, Dec. 4, will be presented by UUCLC member and musician Clovice Lewis.

The service begins at 11 a.m. at the new location for the Unitarians – the Kelseyville United Methodist Church on Main Street in Kelseyville.

Guests are encouraged to attend to hear about Unitarian views and to share in the joy of a new and larger location for services.

The title of Lewis’ sermon is, “OK God, Part 2.”

He will follow up a previous sermon, presented several years ago, in which he gave his perspective on trusting in a deity or higher power when it looks like everything is conspiring against you and times are tough.

This week's service will raise those questions again and examine the potential answers ... from other perspectives. Unitarians draw upon a variety of religious and spiritual sources for inspiration.
