KELSEYVILLE, Calif. — Unitarian Universalist Community of Lake County will host two in-person Sunday services in September.

The services will be held on the second and fourth Sundays, Sept. 11 and 25.

The services take place at 3810 Main St. in Kelseyville at 11 a.m.

All are welcome.

As the congregation reunites and they explore what’s ahead for them as a religious community in Lake County, they welcome the Rev. Ben Meyers back to the pulpit with a message of vision and inspiration.

They also will remember the impact of “9/11/01” on this, the 21st anniversary, on the tragedy and loss of life.

Following the service, Rev. Meyers will lead them in a “Seminar of Discovery” and help them develop a plan for “relaunching” in a post-COVID world.

On Sunday, Sept. 11, Rev. Meyers will give a sermon titled, “The Wind In Our Faces.”

Rev. Meyers has provided sermons regularly at UUCLC over the last 12 years.

He ministered to the Unitarian Universalists of San Mateo from 2013 to 2022. Before that he served the Berkeley Fellowship of Unitarian Universalists.

Meyers lives near Ocean Beach and the Golden Gate Park in San Francisco where he enjoys long walks, a vibrant neighborhood, furthering social justice and making music with friends.
