MIDDLETOWN, Calif. – Calpine and the Middletown Area Merchants Association are co-sponsoring a debate for candidates in the Lake County sheriff's race on Wednesday, Sept. 22.

Challenger Francisco Rivero and incumbent Rod Mitchell will take part in the event, set to take place at 6 p.m.

The debate will take place at the Calpine’s Cartwright Geothermal Visitors Center, located at 15500 Central Park Road, Middletown.
