LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lakeport City Council will discuss its 2010-11 budget, committee membership and consultant selection when it meets this week.
The council will convene for a budget workshop at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 16, with the regular meeting beginning at 6 p.m.
The workshop and meeting will take place in the council chambers at Lakeport City Hall, 225 Park St.

Under council business, the council will accept the candidate list for the Lakeport Economic Development Advisory Committee and schedule the review, consideration and appointment to the committee at the next available council meeting.
The candidates include Alan Flora, Sherrye Schwarz, Wilda Shock, Richard Hoyt, George Linn, Carol Hays, Melissa Fulton, Milton Heath, Nina Marino and Robert Klinger, according to the staff report.
In other council business, the council will consider a staff request to grant a cooperative work agreement extension for the Hartley Street Safe Routes to School Project.
Council members also are expected to authorize staff to enter into contract negotiations with Coastland Engineering for the Main Street infill project.
The council will hold a closed session to discuss labor negotiations with the Lakeport Employees Association and the Lakeport Police Officers Association.
