LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – The Board of Supervisors is seeking applicants to fill vacancies or seek reappointments on a number of county advisory boards.

Community members are invited to apply for the following positions.

Area 1 Developmental Disabilities Board: Two vacancies, two persons with disabilities or the parents or guardians thereof.

Big Valley Groundwater Management Zone Commission: Four vacancies, two in the agricultural users category, two in water districts category.

Building Board of Appeals: Five vacancies, one in each supervisorial district.

Child Care Planning and Development Council: Three vacancies – one discretionary appointee, two in the child care provider category.

Clear Lake Advisory Committee: Five vacancies – one in agriculture, one in aquatic plants, one in fishery, one rimland property owner and one in water quality.

Emergency Medical Care Committee: Six vacancies – one in the community college district category, one ER affiliated medical care coordinator, one paramedic representative, one private ambulance company, two in the consumers-interested group category.

Fish and Wildlife Advisory Committee: Two vacancies, one in law enforcement.

Glenbrook Cemetery District: One vacancy.

Heritage Commission: Seven vacancies – one for each of the five supervisorial districts, two members-at-large.

In-Home Supportive Services Advisory Committee: Five vacancies – two in the senior consumer category, one in disabled consumer, two in disabled community member.

Lower Lake Waterworks District One Board of Directors: Two vacancies.

Middletown Cemetery District: One vacancy.

Mental Health Advisory Board: Five vacancies – one consumer, four members-at-large.

Section 8 Resident Advisory Board: Five vacancies.

Please note that all memberships on the above referenced advisory boards are voluntary.

Other advisory board seats may currently be vacant. For a comprehensive list, please see the posted roster outside the Clerk of the Board Office in the Lake County Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes St., Lakeport.
