LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lakeport Police Department will hold the third in its series of community town hall meetings this Wednesday, April 6.

The meeting will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the council chambers at Lakeport City Hall, 225 Park St.

All community members are invited to attend.

Officer Norm Taylor, the department's gang expert, will cover gang investigations.

Previous meetings have covered community oriented policing strategies and homicide investigations, including an update on the Barbara LaForge homicide, as Lake County News has reported.
