SUMMARY OF ADOPTED ORDINANCE


In order to increase economic vitality, clarify permitting and procedure standards, simplify permit and procedure processes and maintain environmental protections, the Board of Supervisors adopted Ordinance No. 2947, proposing amendments to the Lake County Zoning Ordinance pertaining to wineries, wine tasting facilities, definition of wine-related special events, agricultural service establishments, green waste composting facilities, farmers’ markets, multi-family maximum residential density, and revocation of zoning clearances and zoning permits.


This ordinance was adopted by the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, February 15, 2011, by the following vote:


AYES: Supervisors Smith, Farrington, Brown and Comstock


NOES: Supervisor Rushing


ABSENT OR NOT VOTING: None


This ordinance will take effect on June 2, 2011.
