Sheriff's sergeant visits Redbud's Storytime

CLEARLAKE – The Redbud Library's Storytime recently had a special visitor who talked to the children about the topic of safety.


On June 12 Redbud Library was happy to welcome Sgt. Chris Macedo of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office to Storytime.


Sgt. Macedo read the children a story, talked about “stranger danger” and other safety tips for summer.


Redbud Library Storytime is held the second and fourth Thursday of every month, starting at 3 p.m.


Storytime includes stories, songs, finger plays and an activity follows.


The activity is sponsored by Lake County Adult Literacy Program, First Five Lake County in partnership with Easter Seals.

 

Redbud Library is located at 14785 Burns Valley Road, Clearlake.
