CLEARLAKE, Calif. – The Clearlake City Council will hold a special meeting on Monday evening to discuss numerous property abatement case appeals, all of them involving marijuana cultivation.
The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, in the council chambers at Clearlake City Hall, 14050 Olympic Drive.
On Monday the council will hold public hearings to decide whether or not to act upon abatement orders on 15 separate properties or grant appeals.
City code enforcement officers found that, in each of the cases, marijuana cultivation in violation of city rules was taking place on the various properties, according to staff reports.
The following properties are up for abatement:
• 3419 Green Ave.;
• 3875 Schultz Ave.;
• 3910 Vista Robles Way;
• 14915 Laguna Vista Way;
• 14910 Davis Ave.;
• 15419 Stanyon St.;
• 15820 20th Ave.;
• 15822 30th Ave.;
• 15842 30th Ave.;
• 3413 Fifth St.;
• 3072 Sixth St.;
• 3361 Sixth St.;
• 3371 Sixth St.;
• 2785 Seventh St.;
• 3170 Country Club Drive.
