MIDDLETOWN, Calif. – The Middletown Area Town Hall this week will hear about the latest on a highway project, consider bylaws changes and discuss board nominations for next year.
MATH will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at the Middletown Community Center, 21256 Washington St.
Meetings are open to the community.
Caltrans representative Jaime Matteoli will give the group a presentation regarding a proposed project on Highway 175.
There also will be a discussion of nominations for the MATH Board of Directors for 2017 and a proposed bylaw revision of the Cobb area boundary in light of the recent formation of a separate municipal advisory council for Cobb.
In addition, the group will get an update on the community gardens project at the Calpine property on Highway 29.
The MATH Board includes Chair Fletcher Thornton, Vice Chair Claude Brown, Secretary Margaret Greenley, and members Linda Diehl-Darms and Gregg Van Oss.
MATH – established by resolution of the Lake County Board of Supervisors on Dec. 12, 2006 – is a municipal advisory council serving the residents of Anderson Springs, Cobb, Coyote Valley (including Hidden Valley Lake), Long Valley and Middletown.
