LAKEPORT, Calif. – The deadline to apply for city of Lakeport committees and commissions has been extended to Monday, Dec. 12.
The following commission/committee positions are available:
– Lakeport Planning Commission: The commission meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. in the city council chambers. One member may live outside the city limits but within the Lakeport zip code.
– Park and Recreation Commission: The commission meets on the first Thursday of each month at 3 p.m. at Lakeport City Hall, 225 Park St. Members must reside within the Lakeport city limits.
– Traffic Safety and Advisory Committee: The committee meets once every other month on Mondays at 4 p.m. in the city council chamber. The Lakeport City Council may appoint up to two members that live outside of the city limits.
– Lakeport Economic Development Advisory Committee. LEDAC meets the second Wednesday of each month at 7:30 a.m. at Lakeport City Hall. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, shops or does business in the city of Lakeport.
