COBB, Calif. – The Cobb Area Council will meet this week to get updates on the rebuilding effort and new alarm sirens, and consider its action plan for the new year.
The group will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, at the Little Red Schoolhouse/Cobb Mountain Lions Club, located at 15780 Bottle Rock Road.
Board of Supervisors Chair Rob Brown will give updates on county insurance collection for property clean up and tree removal, the CalHome rebuilding finance program, funding for the Anderson Springs sewer system and the Lake County Planning Commission vacancy for District 5.
Cal Fire Battalion Chief Mike Wink also will make an announcement regarding the Cobb and Loch Lomond alarm sirens.
In other business, there will be discussion of a proposal for the outline of the Cobb Area Council 2017 Action Plan.
There also will be committee reports, planning for the Dec. 22 community Christmas dinner at the Little Red Schoolhouse, and a discussion of potential projects that could apply for Community Development Block Grant funding and nominations for the Lake County Chamber of Commerce Stars Awards.
