LAKEPORT, Calif. – Due to extreme weather conditions and local flooding, a cannabis workshop the Board of Supervisors had planned to hold this week has been postponed.
The Board of Supervisors had scheduled the special evening meeting on Tuesday to review and discuss the draft cannabis ordinance.
However, in light of the extended local flood warning, the new atmospheric river bearing down on the area, and numerous public safety concerns resulting from severe weather conditions, the workshop has been rescheduled to 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, in the Board of Supervisors Chambers on the first floor of the Lake County Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes in Lakeport.
The public is encouraged to attend this public meeting of the Board of Supervisors focused on review and discussion of the draft cannabis ordinance.
