MIDDLETOWN, Calif. – A special fundraising concert by Acoustic Eidolon to benefit Hope City, which is rebuilding homes in the Valley fire area, will be held on Friday, March 24.
The concert will take place beginning at 7 p.m. at the Twin Pine Event Center, 22223 Highway 29 in Middletown.
Husband-and-wife team Joe Scott and Hannah Alkire of Colorado are Acoustic Eidolon. Scott plays the double neck guitjo and Alkire the cello.
They’ve been hailed for their superb musicianship and engaging stage presence, performing across the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia. Notable venues have included Saint Paul’s Cathedral and The Royal National Theatre in London, the Spandau Theatre in Berlin Germany, the Guitars For Hope Festival in France and the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
With 12 CDs and one DVD, they have been featured on the nationally-syndicated radio programs “WoodSong’s Old Time Radio Hour,” “Echoes” and NPR’s “All Things Considered.”

All proceeds benefit Hope City in its efforts to help Valley fire survivors return home. The organization recently dedicated a home that it helped build for a survivor, as Lake County News has reported.
