NOTICE OF:
PUBLIC HEARING TO FORM A GROUNDWATER SUSTAINABILITY AGENCY FOR A PORTION OF THE SCOTTS VALLEY GROUNDWATER BASIN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to Water Code section 10723(b), the City Council of the City of Lakeport, State of California, will hold a public hearing to consider and determine whether the City of Lakeport shall become a Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA) pursuant to the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act for a portion of the Scotts Valley Groundwater Basin.
The City of Lakeport is proposing to submit an application to be the GSA for that portion of the of the Scotts Valley Groundwater Basin which includes the incorporated area of Lakeport and small portion of the unincorporated area west of the City limits in which the City provides municipal water service. The public hearing will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2015 at 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 225 Park Street, at which time and place all interested persons may appear and be heard.
