Safe Halloween fun set for Clearlake City Hall

CLEARLAKE – For the third year in a row, the city of Clearlake will distribute candy and treats to local children at City Hall as a safe alternative to trick-or-treating in unknown neighborhoods.

City Council members and staff will decorate City Hall and dress in costume to welcome children.

Every child will also receive a reflective trick or treat bag with an anti-drug message.

Foods Etc. is the major sponsor of Halloween treats for the little trick-or-treaters this year.

Organizers send out a big thank you to Foods Etc. and the following businesses and individuals: Gallery of World Accents, Lake County Furniture Consignment, Sunset Fishing Resort, Ruzicka and Associates, Mayor Curt Giambruno and Wild About Books for their generous donations of candy and goodies.

Halloween treats will be given out Friday, Oct. 31 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Clearlake City Hall is located at 14050 Olympic Drive.

If you have any questions regarding this event, please call City Clerk Melissa Swanson at 994-8201, Extension 106.
