Well done, Lakeport.

Tuesday’s National Night Out was a wonderful event. What a great opportunity to spend time with our community. It was awesome to see so many people out enjoying the summer evening; meeting their elected city representatives, staff, and other agencies that make Lakeport safe; and reminding us all of what a beautiful place we live in.

Great job Lakeport Police Department for hosting the event, the Lakeport City Council and staff for organizing it, Lakeport Fire for having the fire truck for the kids, California Highway Patrol for having Chipper join us, Kiwanis for grilling the hot dogs, and all the other businesses and agencies that serve our community and showed their dedication to it.
