CLEARLAKE – Wild About Books founders Ellen Lundquist and Lori Peters have announced that they are closing the bookstore at month's end, and are having a close-out sale.
They will be open normal hours, Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., through the end of May.
They said it was a dream come true when they opened the bookstore three years ago and they have greatly enjoyed being a part of the business and literary community.
They appreciate all of their loyal customers who made it all so fun.
Lundquist is looking forward to retiring, traveling, working on her bucket list and spending more time with her mother and family.
Peters said she is looking forward to "what's next" for her with great enthusiasm and optimism for her love of community and Lake County.
