REGIONAL: Paving begins on Highway 20 between Fort Bragg and Willits

NORTH COAST, Calif. – Caltrans announced that two separate paving projects will occur on Highway 20 this summer; one will begin June 11, and the other in early July.  

Together, the two projects will repave approximately 16 miles of highway from about seven miles east of Fort Bragg to about six miles west of Willits. Metal beam guardrail will also be upgraded at various locations.

Beginning Monday, June 11, one-way traffic control will be in effect from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

Beginning early July, one-way traffic control will be in effect at up to three locations at a time.  

Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays at each location for a total of up to 30-minute delays.  

Both projects are anticipated to be completed by the end of October.
