KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – The Lake County Road Department will be applying a preventative maintenance treatment called fog seal to Gaddy Lane, between State Street and Soda Bay Road, on Thursday, June 7.
This treatment consists of applying a thin coating of oil over the road surface to seal and preserve the pavement.
This material must remain undisturbed for up to eight hours following treatment (depending on temperature and humidity) to allow for proper hardening.
For this reason, Gaddy Lane – from State Street to Soda Bay Road – will be limited to one way traffic control with 30 minute delays between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on the day the oil is applied.
Please anticipate limited access to properties in the effected area during this time. Also, no street parking of vehicles will be allowed during this same time period.
The following intersections will be open for residents to be able to access their properties:
- Wendy Lane/Gaddy Lane Intersection: limited access – up to three hour delays.
- Blue Court/Gaddy Lane Intersection: limited access – up to three hour delays.
- Clark Drive/Soda Bay Road Intersection: Clark Drive, Terri Lane, Sauvignon Lane, Jeannie Lane, Jamie Lane, and Pharo Place please use this intersection to access property.
During the time road crews are working and until the road oil dries, please do not park or drive on the street or allow children access to the treatment area.
