MIDDLETOWN, Calif. – The Middletown-Upper Lake varsity football game scheduled this afternoon at Upper Lake will instead be played at Middletown High beginning at 5:30 p.m., officials announced this morning.

It was the second time the game matching the county's two top teams has been rescheduled due to the Scotts Fire, which continued to rage Monday morning east of Ukiah and west of Scotts Valley Road.

Only the varsity game will be played at Middletown's Bill Foltmer Field.
