LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Cheri Honkala, Green Party vice presidential candidate, will be the special guest on “Earth Wise” this Friday, Sept. 14.

Honkala ran for sheriff of Philadelphia on a platform of refusing to serve papers to evict foreclosed homeowners from their homes. She received 10,000 votes.

She also founded an anti-poverty organization which has fought for poor people for 25 years.
