Library plans program on sourdough bread making

LAKEPORT, Calif. – Amy Patton will demonstrate sourdough bread making at a program at the Lakeport Library on Saturday, May 11.

The program begins at 2 p.m. at the library, located at 1425 N. High St.

Patton’s demonstration will cover making a sourdough starter from scratch, different ways to use a starter and how to form a loaf of sourdough bread. Light refreshments will be served.

As with all library events, this program is free and no library card is required to attend.
