Chalk ‘meet and greet’ takes place April 28

CLEARLAKE, Calif. – Bob Chalk, who is seeking election as Lake County’s sheriff/coroner, is holding meet and greets around Lake County.

The next event will take place from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 28, at the Lakeport Yacht Club, located at 15 5th St., Lakeport.

“The idea of the meet and greet is to listen to the community members themselves about their concerns. I’m hearing from community members that ‘safety’ is a priority. The community also wants local agencies to work together to make our county a better, safer place to live,” he said.
