Road closure planned for bridge project

KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – A bridge replacement project will necessitate a temporary closure of a portion of Soda Bay Road for the next four months.

The Lake County Public Works Department reported that, effective Tuesday, July 7, and continuing through November, Soda Bay Road will be closed to all traffic from Clark Drive to Sacramento Perch Drive in order to replace Cole Creek Bridge.

Signage will be in place, directing through traffic to use the Clark Drive detour.

The agency said this will be an around-the-clock, seven-day-a-week closure.
